An original Scottish 19th Scottish 19th Century Highlander’s Regimental Sgian Dubh Dagger
This sgian dubh or sock dagger would have been carried by either an officer or NCO from a Scottish Highland regiment and dates from the late-19th – early 20th Century. Comprises a chequered bogwood grip with large, brass Black Watch regimental badge and black pommel. The blade is plain with typical scalloped edge. Complete with original brass and leather mounted scabbard. Stamped to maker/retailer – MACDOUGALLS.
Condition of the Dagger
In good overall condition with some wear to the blade.
Specifications of the Dagger
Blade length is 3.5 inches (6.75 inches overall).
