Rare and unusual British Victorian 1889 Pattern Infantry Staff-Sergeant’s Sword
These are normally encountered with a brass hilt but this example has an iron hilt, indicating that it is was carried by an NCO in a Rifle regiment. Made by Robert Mole and dated to 1891. Blade with fine maker etching to forte.
Condition of the Sword
Condition of the blade is excellent with no pitting – extremely clean. Hilt with all original fishskin and brass twistwire to the grip. Sword is complete with its correct scabbard.

Blade length is 33 inches (38 inches overall).
