Superb condition British Victorian Honourable Artillery Officer’s Dress Sword
With typical brass hilt with white metal flaming grenade inset badge. All original fishskin and brass twistwire to the grip. The Honourable Artillery Company is the oldest regiment in the British Army and was formed in 1537 during the reign of King Henry VIII. It is made up of volunteers and has served in all the major conflicts that has involved the British Army over a number of centuries.
Condition of the Sword
Blade is in mint condition and retains all original polish. Complete with its original leather and brass mounted scabbard.
