A very fine British 19th Century Senior Officer’s Courtsword
This British 19th Century Senior Officer’s Courtsword is an excellent example of the type of sword carried at Court or in formal occasions. This sword is unusually ornate and has a gilt brass hilt with royal crown pommel. The sword guard has a royal garter with inset English rose and foliage spray to either side. The blade is diamond-shaped and plain. The sword comes complete with a superbly decorated gilt brass and leather mounted scabbard.

In fine condition – some staining to the blade.
