Rare c.1850’s Sheffield made Half Horse/Alligator Pommel Bowie Knife
With German silver embossed pommel and wooden grip secured with silver pins. These bowie knives were produced for the American market and became a famous bowie knife style. Plain, clip point blade.

In good overall condition with handling wear to end of silver pommel to both sides and light staining to blade.
