Good British Napoleonic 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper’s Sword
Made by Gill and marked to the blade spine. Inspector marked to the blade forte. With typical, large hatchet-style blade. Original leather, ribbed grip. Complete with its original heavy iron scabbard. With traces of original paint finish to hilt and scabbard.
Condition of the Sword
In good condition for its age with commensurate age wear to the hilt – blade with light stains and a few nicks.

Blade length is 33 inches (38 inches overall).
