A scarce British Napoleonic 1803 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword
A c.1800’s British regulation pattern infantry officer’s sword with typical lionshead and slotted hilt. The royal cypher and crown is also placed with the knucklebow. All original leather and brass twistwire to the grip. Blade retains some original gilding to the etching that includes royal crown cypher, coat of arms and foliage. No scabbard.

With wear to the blade – has been uncleaned.
