British WW2 Royal Navy 1943 Minesweeper Ship’s Bell and Plaque
An original and unique WW2 ship’s bell and plaque from HMS Coquette, an Algerine class British Royal Navy minesweeper. She was built in Toronto, Canada, in 1943 and was originally made for the Royal Canadian Navy but transferred to the Royal Navy in 1943. For more information about this ship please go to here. The bell is in excellent shape and bears a maker’s stamp to the top. I am also throwing in the ship’s plaque that I would expect is period with the bell.
Condition of the Bell and Plaque
Both are in excellent condition.
Specifications of the Bell and Plaque
Height of the bell (with bracket) is 10 inches and the width is 6 inches.
