A very fine C.1800 Napoleonic Bronze figure of Britannia
A good example of an early 19th Century bronze cast figure of the mythical British patriotic figure, Britannia. With shield, recumbent lion and long spear. The detailing is very good and crisp. A heavy weight statue that would make a great display piece.
Condition of the Figure
In good condition with great age patina – slight bend to spear.
