Terrific English c.1770 Cavalry Officer’s Sword with Solid Silver Hilt

With solid silver hilt and sharkskin grip. Blade marked to the English sword maker, Jeffries who is noted as a prolific maker of sword blades for the British Army in the mid-late 18th Century.

Condition of the Sword

In excellent condition throughout and with only minor age wear to the blade.

Specifications of the Sword

Blade length is 30.75 inches (36 inches overall).
