An excellent French Dated 1831 Heavy Cavalry Cuirassier Trooper’s Sword
This French Dated 1831 Heavy Cavalry Cuirassier Trooper’s Sword is of typical form and comprises a very large, brass four-bar hilt with leather and brass twistwire to the grip. The date of 1831 is engraved to the spine of the blade. With a long, double-fullered blade that is stamped to the forte with inspector’s mark. Complete with correct steel scabbard.
Condition of the Sword
In excellent condition, with plenty of original finish to the blade – very clean.
