A very rare German dated 1937 Braunsweiger Fire Defence/Police Belt Buckle
This is a seldom seen German 1930’s belt buckle that I believe was carried by a man serving in either the Braunsweiger (Saxony) fire defence or police forces. Features the prancing horse that is the town’s motif. Is made from aluminium and retains a leather strap with stamped maker’s name and date.
Condition of the Buckle
In good overall condition.
Specifications of the Buckle
Dimensions are 2.75 inches x 2 inches.
