A very rare and seldom seen Indian Issue WW2 Fairburn-Sykes Fighting Commando Knife
These knives were produced in India during the WW2 and are different in manufacture to the traditional British Fairburn-Sykes fighting knives, especially with regard to the blade and scabbard. The blade is double-edged and with a raised median ridge that runs the length of the blade. The scabbard comprises darkened brass hilt mounts and a thick stitched leather body.
Condition of the Knife
In good overall condition with commensurate service wear to the blade.
Specifications of the Knife
Blade length is 6.75 inches (11.5 inches overall).
