An unusual 19th Century Indian/Asian Knife Machete
This is a strange and possibly unique 19th Century Indian/Asian Knife Machete. It comprises a horn hilt with inset brass star-shaped decoration and brass studs. The blade is of long, machete-type and has an etched decorated scene comprising two tigers, sun and elaborate scrolled decoration to the border.
Condition of the Knife Machete
Gouge to bottom of hilt near ferrule – minor staining to the blade.
Specifications of the Knife Machete
Blade length is 16 inches (21 inches overall).
