An original 19th/20th Century North African Tuareg Takooba Sword
This is a North African Kaskara Sword of type usually associated with the Tuareg peoples of Morocco and the Sudan. It comprises a cruciform hilt covered in leather and a long and wide, multi-fullered blade that is stamped with crescent shaped motifs to both sides. It comes complete with a tooled leather scabbard and hanging straps.
