An original British 1912 Pattern Cavalry Officer’s Sword
A British c.WW2 1912 Pattern Cavalry Officer’s Sword. A typical example with large, engraved bowl hilt and fishskin and silver twistwire wire covering to the grip. Blade is etched with royal cypher of King George V, royal crown and coat of arms. Complete with leather field service scabbard.
Condition of the Sword
In good overall condition – some wear to one side of blade, grip and bottom of scabbard.
Specifications of the Sword
Blade length is 39 inches (43 inches overall).
