A very good Dutch East Indies WW2 Model 1910 HeiHo Klewang Cutlass. This is different to the much more common Model 1911 Klewang Cutlass that was made in the Netherlands up until the outbreak of WW2 when the country was occupied by Germany and no more Model 1911 cutlasses were manufactured. These cutlasses were made in Indonesia and issued to the HeiHo (Auxillary) Corps before the Japanese invasion.

This example differs slightly in having had the bowl guard removed. The cutlass comprises a blued steel and fullered blade with bakelite grips secured by three brass rivets. Complete with original leather and brass mounted scabbard. In excellent shape and with all blueing remaining to the blade. Blade length is 17.5 inches (22 inches overall).
