A Good English C.1730 Gentleman’s Smallsword
This is an early 18th Century English C.1730 Gentleman’s Smallsword with typical plain hilt mounts and distinctive pas-de-ane. The blade is of colichemarde form and indicative of smallswords from the first quarter of the 18th Century. The grip is wood.
Condition of the Smallsword
With general age wear to the hilt and blade.
Blade length is 32 inches (38.5 inches overall).
