A scarce French WW1 Model 1874 Bayonet Cut Down Trench Knife
A seldom seen example of a French WW1 Model 1874 Bayonet Cut Down Trench Knife. This would have been adapted in the field and carried as a handy utility trench knife and combat knife. With brass and hardwood grip and ribbed cruciform type blade. Stamped serial number to the hook crossguard.
Condition of the Trench Knife
In good condition with some wear to the hilt mounts and blade.
Specifications of the Trench Knife
Blade length is 10.5 inches (16.5 inches overall).
