A very good example of a Late-19th Century North African Somali Dagger
This is a Late-19th Century North African Somali Dagger of Billao type. With marine ivory grip and brass hilt mounts. The blade is of wide, spatulate form and the dagger comes complete with its original scabbard.
Condition of the Dagger
In very good overall condition – some blade staining commensurate with its age.
Specifications of the Dagger
Blade length is 8 inches (14 inches overall).
