17th Century Indian Firangi Sword

An original Indian Firangi sword with large basket hilt and retaining original grip wrapping.  Blade is likely to be of 17th Century European origin and many of these blades were sold by Portuguese traders during this period.  Blade length is 35 inches (39 inches overall).
