Model 1784 French Artilleryman’s Short Sword

A rare and original  French Model 1784 artillery soldier’s short sword.  With prominent cast brass lionshead hilt and wide, spatulate-type blade.  Complete with its original leather and brass-mounted scabbard (minus the chape).  Blade length is 23.5 inches (29 inches overall).
