An unusual Prussian 19th Century Model 1852 Child’s Sword. This is a scarce piece and would have been made for a German boy during the 19th Century. It is a direct copy of the Prussian Model 1852 Cavalry Trooper’s Sword and comprises a steel hilt bound with fishskin and steel twistwire.
Complete with its original scabbard
The blade is plain and plated. The sword comes complete with scabbard. In good overall condition. Couple of wires loose to grip. Dent to scabbard chape. Blade length is 23 inches (27 inches overall).
